Experience Aså-Gerå Wildlife Reserve in North Jutland, a 702-hectare nature area from Gerå to Aså with salt marshes, lagoons and coastal areas. The reserve is an important resting, breeding and foraging area for many bird species, including the light-bellied mallard, moorhen, eider, velvet wagtail, little copperhead, sandpiper, redshank, grebe and shorebird. In winter, whooper swans and Canada geese gather here. This spot is completely unique, perfect for peace, relaxation and nature experiences, and some also choose to spend the night in their car to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Visit the bird tower at Aså Harbour for a fantastic view and experience nature, hiking and birdwatching in peaceful surroundings.
