Experience life as a fisherman at Asaa Harbour Museum, a charming, volunteer-run museum at Asaa Harbour in North Jutland. The museum is located in a red-painted fishing building from the 1930s and displays historic fishing gear, engines, navigation equipment and ship's logs that tell the story of the development of fishing in the area. Visit the museum Tuesday to Sunday from 1-4 pm in June, July and August, and experience crab fishing for children during the school summer holidays. Guided tours are available for groups by appointment. Asaa Harbour Museum provides an authentic insight into the fishing history of Vendsyssel and is an ideal visit for children, adults and history buffs alike.
