Brøndby Strand, part of Køge Bugt Strandpark, is a popular and family-friendly excursion destination that is closer to Copenhagen than Hundige Strand. The beach has both sandy beach and dunes, making it ideal for relaxation and activities. It is located only 1 km from Brøndby Station, and there is a large parking lot at Strandporten, from where you walk over a bridge and along Gyvelstien directly to the beach. The beach has shallow bathing water and a good sandy bottom, making it perfect for both families with children and adults who want to enjoy the sun and water. The beach's delimited nature is ideal for a quiet day by the sea, and with the easy access from Copenhagen, it is a perfect place for both a spontaneous trip and planned excursions.
