Den Permanente is Aarhus' iconic sea and swimming beach, located a few minutes by bike from the city center at Riis Skov. The beach offers white sand, clean bathing water and a newly renovated bathing facility with changing rooms, showers and toilets that exude nostalgic charm. In the summer, there are TrygFonden lifeguards during the high season, making the place safe and family-friendly. In addition, there is access to a kiosk, bathing jetties and an atmospheric atmosphere that both locals and tourists enjoy. On the beach you can swim, sunbathe or simply relax with a view of Aarhus Ø and the vibrant city. The north wing is open year-round, while winter bathers have special access to the south wing during the winter months.
