There is a parking space approx. 50 meters before this address. Introduction: Next to the majestic viewpoint, Maglehøj, lies Dutterhøj and offers an enchanting view of Sejerø Bay and the beautiful landscape of Odsherred. Dutterhøje forms a significant part of the proud ridge that adorns the craggy marginal moraine that looks out over Vejhrøjbuen, a bastion in front of the dammed Lammefjord. These mounds, which have stood untouched by the flow of time, bear tales of a bygone era, never revealed by human curiosity. Despite their impressive age, the Dutterhøjene have never been subject to excavation, giving them a mysterious glow of undiscovered history. Like their high-ranking siblings, they date back to the earliest Bronze Age 3800 to 3000 years ago, when society took shape in new ways and the past met the future with endless fascination. In the Bronze Age, the mounds were not randomly placed; instead, they follow ancient weather patterns, as a reflection of man's struggle with and against nature.
