Radius25 parked at Bølling Sø P Syd and took a photo of the map. The site is located at no. 2 C. The picture is from Silkeborg Museum, but don't cheat yourself of the experience of visiting the site. From the car park it is approx. 1750 metres, and you walk through a bog area where you cannot help but feel the nature and history of the past. It can be a little difficult to find the path at times, but if you have taken a photo of the map at the parking lot, you should be able to find your way. The site is marked with an information area where you can hear and read about the Ellingkvinden. Although the site is on private land, you can see the field if you walk back to the footbridge. You cannot get all the way to the site as it is on private land. Ellingkvinden is a bog from the Iron Age, found in 1938 near Silkeborg and dated to approx. 200 BC The body, which was wearing a sheepskin cloak and had a complex hairstyle, was allegedly hanged and buried in the bog.
