Denmark's Bird Zoo in Tommerup, Funen, is a charming bird park and nature oasis with over 800 birds from all over the world in scenic terrain facilities. On a 2 km long, handicap-friendly trail system spread over approximately 6 hectares, you can experience everything from ostriches and parrots to rare owls and ducks. In the “Children's Oasis” children can touch and learn about animals in a playful environment. The park prioritizes animal welfare and organic feeding – no artificial vitamins, medicine is often replaced with garlic. Open March–November (closed for the summer in June–August) with ticket prices from 160 DKK, season tickets and group arrangements. Dogs can use dog kennels.
