Harteværket Oplevelsescenter | Danmarks Første Vandkraftværk

Visit Denmark's first large hydropower plant, only 3 km from the center of Kolding. The unique buildings from 1920 are located in a green oasis surrounded by streams and nature trails. Although the plant still produces electricity, today it primarily functions as an experience center for both children and adults with a focus on play, learning and movement. With nature, energy and history as our three core areas, you get access to a wide range of activities after paying the entrance fee. Our goal is to be an activity and learning center for children and young people from kindergarten to high school. We also welcome institutions outside normal opening hours and offer teaching courses and subject-relevant tours of 45-90 minutes.
