Experience the Bangsbo Coastal Museum in Frederikshavn, which is housed in a historic manor house from 1364 surrounded by a park, botanical garden, wildlife park and nature playground. The main building – known as "The White Manor" – offers exhibitions about life around the year 1900, the environment of the author Herman Bang and the manor's former cultural life. The museum also houses an occupation exhibition with gripping stories of fate as well as a seafaring exhibition with the unique Ellingå ship from 1163, figureheads, ship models and maritime archaeology. Information, guided tours, workshops and child-friendly activities such as the History Detectives are offered throughout the year.
