Description:
Experience the Trojaborg labyrinth, located next to the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde – one of the oldest types of labyrinth, known since the Bronze Age 3,000–4,000 years ago. The labyrinth consists of several hundred stones laid in a precise pattern, either 7-ring or 11-ring, and provides both children and adults with an active and educational experience. The movement through the corridors is also used as a form of meditation to find inner peace and focus – try the labyrinth and experience how it works on you. The labyrinth is inspired by the Trojaborg labyrinths from Ireland around the year 1500. It is located outdoors at Vindeboder12, 4000 Roskilde, with the nearest parking on Museum Island, a short walk from the labyrinth.
