Måne Mor Trold is a Thomas Dambo jubilee troll, no. 100, who lives in Hedeland. She is the mother of all the troll children. Måne Mor lives deep in the forest and keeps a watchful eye on her many troll children. She protects them from the prying eyes of humans using a powerful enchantment that she learned from her ancestors. The birds are still her faithful helpers, and they sing beautiful melodies to drown out the giggling and playing of the goblin children in the forest. Until now, humans have only seen her adult goblins around the world, as she protects the goblins with her magic until they are old enough to show themselves to humans. People who visit the forest are unaware of the troll children's presence, but they can still feel the magical atmosphere and feel that something magical is happening just around the corner. Her adult troll child, Glade Anders, became so happy listening to birdsong as a child that he has become the birds' friend. He has built birdhouses for all the birds, and that is why they lead people to his mother, Måne Mor.
