Experience Moesgaard Museum, an independent institution with a strong tradition of communication and research, which works closely with Aarhus University. With over 300 employees, including archaeologists and natural scientists, the museum is central to archaeological research and local history. Our impressive exhibition building, which opened in 2014, presents permanent exhibitions with new perspectives on the past as well as changing special exhibitions with spectacular cultural heritage. The museum also includes departments such as Odder Museum, Samsø Museum and the Viking Museum in Aarhus, and offers a unique view from our architectural gem.
