Munkholmbroen | Vejbroen over Isefjorden med Fiskemuligheder
Description:
The Munkholm Bridge is a 114 meter long road bridge that spans the inner part of the Isefjord and connects the area around Holbæk with Hornsherred. Featuring a superstructure of three sets of reinforced concrete arches, the bridge is an impressive architectural feature and an important part of the region's infrastructure. In addition to its function as a road bridge, the Munkholm Bridge is also a popular place for fishing for mackerel, herring, hornfish and occasionally sea trout. However, the bridge is closed to fishing from 16 September to 15 March. Whether you cross the bridge on foot or by car, you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Isefjord and the folk fishing that often takes place here.
