Discover the story behind Omø Bryghus, which was born from an idea in 2018. With the foundation of Omø Bryghus ApS on 22 September 2019, the dream of brewing beer for the island's residents and guests became a reality. Although most of the new brewery owners had no experience in beer brewing, a small 30-liter brewing system was purchased and used to create brewing experiences and lay the foundation for the brewery's current beer range. With support from LAG Småøerne, which awarded a subsidy of DKK 117,000, and support from the local community through the expansion of the group of shareholders, Omø Bryghus now, in May 2023, has a plant with a total annual production capacity of approx. 4,600 liters of beer.
