The shallow water of 0.5 meters extends 1 km towards the 40-metre-deep navigation channel in Omø Sund, which has caused many groundings. Today mainly yachtsmen beach here. The area is beautiful in the summer with many ships and sailors. The reef tip consists of communal land owned by the island's farmers who graze their animals here. The coast offers wormwood, Skovklinten - Omø's highest point - and Draget, one of the island's best bathing beaches. Omø's electricity and fiber cable lies on the seabed here and connects the island to the outside world.
