Visit the Taurus Observatory at Horsens Gymnasium & HF for a fascinating experience of the night sky. Open Observatory offers free access to events with lectures on current celestial phenomena and the opportunity to observe celestial bodies through our state-of-the-art telescope. The contact person is astronomy teacher Jakob Holden, who can be reached at jhn@horsens-gym.dk. The observatory is equipped with a CPC 800 from Celestron and is available on selected dates. The history behind the observatory, which has roots back to the 1930s, is enriched by donations and collaboration with the Horsens Astronomical Society.
