Deeply rooted in history, Tørning Mølle stands as an iconic symbol of the era of mill operation. Over the centuries, the mill has utilized the power of the water from Tørning Å - now Stevning Dam - with an impressive capacity of approx. 1200 liters per second. After generations of operation and decay, the mill was protected in 1980 and taken over by an independent institution. Visitors can explore the inside of the mill, where the turbine plant still produces electricity. But the history of the mill also contains mysterious elements; in 2016, Paranormal Denmark found out that at night 2 millers wander around the mill, and a maid in the miller's residence makes beds every night.
