Experience the spectacular observation tower at Øster Hurup, perfectly located by the cycle path and parking lot north of the beach. From the tower you can enjoy panoramic views of the Juniper Plain, the forest edge and Bønderskoven, while keeping an eye out for red deer, roe deer, wild boar and even European bison (bisent). In September and October you can experience the red deer's rut, when large stags fight for the attention of the hinds. The tower offers information boards about animal and plant life as well as binoculars for free use, and the lower floor is handicap-friendly.
