Experience the Trækstien along the Gudenå between Silkeborg and Randers, a 70 km long hiking trail that takes you through Bjerringbro and offers unique nature experiences close to the water. Follow the historic barge path, where barges and horses once transported goods along the Gudenå. The towpath varies in terrain with both renovated wooden paths and original muddy sections, and it is recommended to check the water level before the trip. Cycling is permitted between Silkeborg and Kongensbro and between Fladbro and Randers, but not on the section between Kongensbro and Fladbro, where Regional route 29 is a good alternative. The towpath is also ideal for angling with several good fishing platforms along the route.
