Baagø offers a deep connection to the past with finds of flint tools from ancient times and the best-preserved ancient relic, the langdyssen, dating back to 3950-2801 BC.
The island also houses a listed lighthouse built in 1816 and marked "Stormflod 1872" after a violent flood. Baagø's church, built in 1861, exudes a simple and beautiful style and is worth a visit. Since 2012, the island has also proudly housed a Russian Orthodox church, accompanied by a holiday home for pilgrims and visitors from all over Denmark and Europe. So on Baagø you can explore history, nature and a wonderful island atmosphere.
